Heidi Cumbie M.S. CCC-SLP
I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University.
Prior to starting Vine & Branch, I worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities, and home health.
With my students I incorporate techniques from child-centered approaches like DIR Floortime and Laura Mize in order to achieve meaningful interactions between myself and the children I treat. Additionally, I am trained in Autism From The Inside Out and certified in the PROMPT articulation assistance technique (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets).
I live in Highland Village, Texas with my husband and 4 busy children. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, decorating, traveling, singing, serving at church and spending time with family and friends.

Jenna Romero M.S. CCC-SLP
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Christian University and my Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Prior to Vine & Branch, the majority of my career was in the elementary school setting, where I evaluated and treated children ages 4-12 with speech and language disorders. I’ve also worked in pediatric home health and skilled nursing facilities in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.
I enjoy treating children of all ages, with an emphasis on rapport and functional outcomes to best serve my clients in their daily lives.

Ashlynn Payne, M.A. CCC-SLP
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Abilene Christian University and my Master's degree from the University of Kansas.
Prior to starting at Vine & Branch, I worked with both adults and children in skilled nursing facilities and in the school system. Most of my time has been working with elementary aged children, where we focused on articulation, phonological, and language needs. I also have experience evaluating and working with autism spectrum disorder and social communication skills.
My focus is on creating an environment conducive to learning new speech and language skills for each individual child's needs while finding joy along the way.
I currently live in Highland Village, Texas with my husband and 2 cats. In our free time, we love to hike, cook, and travel together.

Angela Northcutt, M.A. CCC-SLP
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas and my Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Texas.
Prior to coming on staff at Vine & Branch, most of my experience was in the school setting. I worked with preschool through elementary aged children with needs in articulation, language, apraxia, phonological disorders, fluency and social skills. I also have experience working in pediatric home health and private clinic settings.
I am passionate about early intervention and developing engaging therapy for children that creates a productive and fun environment.
I currently live in Lewisville, Texas with my husband and our two boys. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, crafting, serving at our church, party planning and building LEGOs with my boys.
